- The Commission lists the Commissioner of Communications as single point of contact, pending the national law. The Commissioner’s AI Act site says market surveillance is shared with the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection.

Public consultation ran from 16 August to 16 September 2026. The draft would make the Commissioner of Communications notifying authority, market surveillance authority and single point of contact, with the data protection commissioner and the Central Bank of Cyprus for some systems.

Amends Ν. 89(Ι)/2020 and has applied since its publication on 25 April 2025. The Digital Security Authority is the competent authority and single point of contact.
