Set it up in four steps
- 01
Install
Add EurekaGPT for Chrome from the Chrome Web Store.
- 02
Pin
Open the puzzle-piece menu in your toolbar and pin EurekaGPT.
- 03
Sign in
Press the EurekaGPT icon. The side panel opens. Sign in with your EurekaGPT account.
- 04
Start
Write the task in the panel. Or ask in a chat on app.eurekagpt.eu and press Start on the card that appears.
How it works with you
- It works in your own browser. EurekaGPT opens a blue tab group called EurekaGPT in your Chrome and works there, on the sites where you are already signed in.
- It asks before it acts on a new site. For each site you choose Allow once, Always allow on this site or Decline. Banking, payment and investment sites ask every time.
- It asks before anything important. Sending, submitting, booking, deleting, changing a setting and downloading always need your yes.
- You can stop it at any moment. Press Stop. Or press Take over, do something yourself, and press Give back when you are done.
What EurekaGPT never does
- It does not pay. It does not press the final buy button.
- It does not type your secrets. Passwords, card numbers, bank details and ID numbers are yours to type.
- It does not open accounts or move money. It does not create accounts, make transfers or trades, or solve CAPTCHAs.
- It does not take orders from a web page. Text written on a page is data. Adult and pirated sites are blocked.
When a task reaches one of these steps, EurekaGPT stops and says: You need to do this part yourself. Press Take over, do it, and press Give back.
What reaches the AI
While a task runs, what is on the page you are working on goes to the AI model. A screenshot goes too when the AI asks for one. The call runs through our gateway to a provider established in the EU, processed in the EEA, with zero data retention requested on every call.
EurekaGPT keeps the task log: the sites it visited, what it did and what you approved. It keeps no page contents and no screenshots. The extension talks only to app.eurekagpt.eu and has no analytics.
Use a Chrome profile without your bank or health accounts. A screenshot can show other people's data, such as an inbox. You decide which pages to open.
If something does not work
- Chrome says it is unsupported. Update Chrome to version 120 or later (Settings, About Chrome). If your organisation manages Chrome, ask your administrator to allow the extension.
- Chrome shows a bar saying EurekaGPT started debugging this browser. That is expected while a task runs. It shows that EurekaGPT is in control. Closing the bar stops the task.
- The install says it can read and change data on all websites. EurekaGPT needs that to read and act on the page you ask it to work on. It acts only on sites you allow.
- The panel does not open. Check that the extension is on in chrome://extensions, then press its icon in the toolbar.
